About the author

1996 in May on my birthday I saw SAP R/3 for the first time. This was in Belgium at IBM's education centre on a 4-weeks consultant course. Although I had majored in accounting and worked with accounting software for a decade, it was a shocking experience. I felt like Alice in the Wonderland. Yet my journey in the SAP world has been interesting and taught me new things every day.
I have worked as a CO and FI consultant (in that order) and have experience of all the modules in that area.
However, the real SAP Academy for me, were the years I worked at the customer side in a higly integrated R/3 environment. This was an eye-opening experience. Although I was responsible for FICO, my working days mostly went tackling problems coming from logistics (MM, SD, PP, PM). The logistics people saw fico only as an obstacle that was preventing their creativity. It was also impossible to find consultants who know the integration well. The only way to solve the problems was to learn how the other modules work.
To be born in a nordic country has given me opportunity to high education and interesting work, which is not granted in all parts of the world, especially not for women. Today as a certified and experienced consultant I want to share my knowledge with you. If you find my gift valuable, support one of Unicef's literacy programs.
My company was founded in 1994 and was then selling hardware and software. Today it is a dormant company, which only owns this domain. I myself have returned to consulting and work for a big consulting company.
